The Train Depot was an environment that allowed me to practice my kitbashing skills. I wanted to challenge myself to use the numerous asset packs I had gathered over several months and create an environment with them. This taught me how to combine different asset packs and arrange them to work cohesively.

Unreal Engine 5 early access was released during the project's creation, and I converted the project from Unreal 4.27 to experiment with some of Unreal’s new functionalities and push my learning further.

With this project, I also wanted to learn how to create a cinematic sequence. I taught myself how to use Unreal’s sequencer to export several shots from the environment.

This environment was inspired by Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins (2005).
