Cutting Board was inspired by a demonstration I presented to my students while discussing the principles of photorealism. I created this image as a challenge to myself to see how closely I could recreate an advertisement I found online. While I took some artistic liberties and diverted from the source material, the scene demonstrates Unreal Engine’s power when working with photorealistic concepts.
